Selection of JAU as Regional Innovation Cell (RIC) under STBI, DST, Government of Gujarat

Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh has been selected as a Regional Innovation Cell (RIC) for the West Coast & Sorath Zone under the Savli Technology & Business Incubator initiative of the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. The sanction letter was received at the GInTech Conclave 2026 held on 04 November 2026 at GIFT City Club, Gandhinagar, in the presence of Hon’ble Cabinet Minister, Department of Science and Technology, Government of Gujarat, Shri Arjunbhai Modhwadia and Director, STBI, Dr. Anand N. Bhadalkar. This achievement was appreciated by the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Dr. V. P.
