How selection works
As per the provisions of the Notice of Examination, allocation of posts to eligible candidates has been made on the basis of merit-cum-preference of posts submitted by the candidates online and FIX/FLOAT option exercised by candidates in Sliding/Identity Verification process. A total of 3515 candidates have been provisionally shortlisted in the final result of CHSLE-2025. Category-wise breakup of provisionally recommended candidates is as follows:

As per Para 15 of FRTA write up dated 17.08.2026, any candidate who failed to attend the sliding process physically has been treated as absent and not considered for the final result.
