It is hereby notified for information of all concerned that as per the Notification vide no. 1003-HED-17014(99)/60/2022-CS-SEC-Dept. of HE, dated 31.08.2026, issued by the Department of Higher Education, Government of West Bengal, and in continuation of the earlier notification vide no No.UG/2- yr. B.P.Ed. Admn.(2026-27) / 312, dated 03.09.2026, the process of Phase-2 Admission to 2-year B.P.Ed. Programme on Self-financed basis at Gitanjali College of Physical Education, Birbhum, under B.U., will start on and from 15.10.2026.

How selection works
3. Admission to 2-year B.P.Ed. Programme in Self-financed College under B.U. will be done on the basis of merit. For generation of Merit List, Merit Score of each applicant will be computed in the manner as follows: i. 15% of percentage marks obtained at 10 th Standard Examination ii. 15% of percentage marks obtained at 12 th Standard Examination iii. 20% of percentage marks obtained at Under-graduate Examination iv. Sports Achievement Marks
