Consequent upon the recommendation of the Director, Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and the approval of the Competent Authority, the Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell) is hereby established at the Central University of Punjab as a student-driven body.
Who this is for
The E-Cell shall function under the overall guidance of the Faculty Mentors named above and in coordination with the Institutions Innovation Council (IC) of the University.
Important to know
The following students, as recommended by the IQAC, shall be the members of the E-Cell: The rationale for establishment of the E-Cell, as recommended by the IQAC, is as under: (i) To channelize the energy of the Under-Graduate students into something productive. (ii) The university now offers B.Tech. programmes, having an E-Cell will help these students to get involved in innovation and entreprepeurship. (iii) The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) is an initiative of the Ministry of Education which can mentor the E-Cell; the E-Cell, being student-driven, shall have more outreach and connectivity.
