Corrections and source updates

Accuracy matters when people are making decisions about applications, examinations and public services. Contact support@noticetap.com to report an error. Last updated: 25 September 2026.

What to include

Send the NoticeTap URL, the original official source URL, the incorrect text and the supporting evidence for the correction. Use the subject Notice correction. Do not send passwords, identity documents, application credentials or private candidate records.

For a broken official link, include the current issuing page if you know it. An old source link becoming unavailable does not automatically mean the announcement has been cancelled.

How corrections are handled

Reports are assessed against the original announcement and any official amendments available. Supported corrections can update the headline, categorisation or reader details. Unsupported information can be removed from the explanation while the official source remains linked.

Existing source revisions and confirmed amendments are shown in notice history where available. Material changes should be explained visibly. A spelling correction or an automated reread must not be presented as a newly issued official announcement.

Official amendments and urgent questions

Only the issuing organisation can change an official deadline, eligibility requirement, result or cancellation. Where an amendment can be linked with evidence, NoticeTap points readers to that update. A source check or alert can be delayed.

If a deadline is close, consult the issuing organisation directly. NoticeTap cannot submit an application, resolve an eligibility dispute, change results or refund an official application fee.

Publication history and removals

Notice pages ordinarily keep their original links and added dates. Articles leaving the recent feed or two-day news sitemap remain accessible through their normal URLs. We do not change dates to present old information as fresh news.

A page may be corrected or restricted for a substantiated privacy, rights or accuracy concern. Contact support@noticetap.com with the evidence. Changes to our explanation do not alter an institution’s original record.
