How NoticeTap works
NoticeTap is an independent feed of source-linked government and education updates. Here is how to use it and understand its limits.
Is NoticeTap a government website?
No. NoticeTap is an independent platform that collects links to public announcements. The original issuing organisation is the authority for every notice.
Does NoticeTap cover every government and university notice?
No service can guarantee that. We monitor a growing list across India, but coverage varies because sites can be unavailable, restrict access or use formats that our automation cannot read. Browse sources and check important organisations directly.
Are only PDFs monitored?
No. Connected pages can contain HTML announcements, downloadable documents, feeds and links marked NEW. We monitor supported public sources for these types of update, within access and resource limits.
What does Found mean?
Found is when NoticeTap first collected a link. Published is shown only when identifiable source evidence supplies a publication date. A NEW icon alone does not establish that date.
How do I receive relevant alerts?
Choose your topics, states and organisations in Interests & alerts, then enable browser notifications on each device. An account can sync preferences and store an inbox. Delivery depends on collection schedules, connectivity and device permission settings.
Can I rely on extracted deadlines and eligibility?
Use them as a guide, then read the current official notice. Automated extraction, especially from scanned files, can miss context. Check amendments or cancellations before applying.
How do I correct an error?
Email support@noticetap.com with the NoticeTap URL and supporting official source. For a change to an official notice itself, contact the issuing organisation.
